The bio-shredder type Bio 250 come in petrol engine version or with tractor power takeoff. The shredding system consists of two parts: the first one, named chipper, is used to cut wooden or fibrous materials, such as linden tree, and willow; the second one, by means of moving little hammers, triturates materials like leaves, hedges, and kitchen waste. A good operation is garanted even if pebbles or nails have been introduced accidentally. The fineness of the final output can be adjusted by way of a sieve. The natural transformation of the biologic triturated material originates a hugh-protein organic substance, which can be used is used as fertiliser.
